At IC Sciences Development Corp., we know that more than capital is required to achieve business success. For us, success is delivered through a partnership with physicians, entrepreneurs, scientists, engineers and CEO's of early stage e-health companies that produces industry leading companies either within the IC Sciences Family of Companies or externally, in the large and emerging market ecosystem of e-health. While a typical investment may require millions of capital, it is not unusual for us to consider seed projects with an initial investment of $100,000 to $500,000. In fact, one of our most successful portfolio companies began after an acquisition in Miami and a transfer to our headquarters in Boston with a small capital commitment and a large commitment of our time and of our expertise.
